Today's song title is one worth mentioning.
I usually don't post on Mondays, but when there's some big holiday coming up like Christmas, you gotta celebrate. There's been a lot of suspense over the past month, and now it's finally here.
But what if you didn't "have time to?" There's too many presents to wrap, too many lights to put on the tree, too much food to make, and too much money to save after buying so much stuff. I don't have time to celebrate.
Well then... what's the point?
Or maybe you feel like this: Everyone seems to think I should wrap the presents and put the lights on the tree and make the food and save the money - and they're a lot better at those things than me - so why should I wish any of them a merry Christmas? But they might give me even more work.... so I'll just say it to make things look good.
Well then... what's the point?
And what's the point of listening to this song if you don't really like it?
If you don't really want to give someone 100 presents, then don't feel like you have to. Even one is better than nothing.
If you don't really want to listen to a song, then don't feel like you have to. Finding another one is better than nothing.
But if you don't really want to celebrate on Christmas, take another look at that. Sometimes you do need a break to grab a cup of tea (or whatever you like to drink), listen to a song, and think outside of the busy routine you have.
I think the title of this song would be a good thing to end this post - the last one of 2018 - with.
Merry Christmas to you too "Tea with Liya" ! Thanks for your lovely music each week. Keep it up !
