About/Contact

Hi! I’m Liya, and I made this blog because I wanted a place to keep the songs I’ve been learning. I also think that music can change anyone's emotions, mindset and life for the better. My personal goal with this website is to provide you with an ample directory of songs that you will enjoy, and help music to make a difference in your life. I have been playing piano since I was 4! In that time, I've learned and studied music from several different genres, including classical, jazz, vocal, and a few pop songs.

I usually publish around 1 song every week. Now that several years have passed, I have over 100 songs listed on Tea with Liya, and I'm expecting to reach 200 before the end of 2021.

You probably came here because you want to know something about me and my music. But maybe you have some questions that I haven't answered yet, like these:
  1. You said you have small hands. How do you play all those notes?
  2. How come there's no "Facebook" buttons on here?
  3. Where can I get piano lessons?
And here are my answers:
  1. It takes a L.O.T. of practice.
  2. You might be able to find that site (or app) yourself. You know, the first result that comes up when you Google the letter "F"?
  3. It's a good thing that I inspired you to start playing the piano, but I'd have to know where you are to answer that one. Maybe Google could help you with this, too.
Or maybe those weren't the questions you were thinking of, and you still don't have an answer. Or maybe you just want to say something to me. And that's okay. You can easily contact me using the form below.

I check my emails frequently, so you shouldn't have to wait a week before seeing a response.

Unless, that is, I'm busy adding more content.

  1. Who knew that hidden behind that sweet, quiet exterior was an incredible talent. Thanks for sharing Liya
