The second giveaway is what the song sounds like - it doesn't have the same structure as the piano sonatas I've learned.
Third, most classical songs didn't have lyrics so that they could be sung. Fourth, music in the style of this song was not written back in the 17' and 1800s. And
(2022: This post said "fourth" instead of "fifth" for almost 4 years. What was I doing?)
I really like the lyrics - they're talking about going to the river to help you forget about all the troubles in your life. In fact, I heard that a river was the inspiration for this song. You never know what things could happen and just be begging you to write a song about them.
You might be wondering, "If the song came out two weeks ago, then how are you playing it already?" Lots of people have told me that I learn songs quickly. But this one - not insulting anyone here or trying to make myself look good, just saying - isn't really the most complex of songs that I've played. Didn't I tell you about 7-page sonatas? Those are the songs that take me months to learn. This one, however, doesn't need as much time.
Of course, everyone is different. I'm probably not going to walk outside tomorrow and start talking about how cold it is (forecasted feels like temperature: 42°C). But if you lived on the sun, you'd probably have something to say about the weather - if you didn't freeze first. And if you had never heard a song before, you would never know how other people learn songs.
Which is why I'm suggesting that you should listen to this song. I think you're really going to like it. Music has been proven to have positive effects on people, after all. So, are you going to click the play button...? It's for your benefit....
