Welcome back to Tea with Liya! It seems like only a couple days since May started. In this post, I'm playing the song "B Minor Waltz" composed by Bill Evans. I also have some things to say about strengths and weaknesses. I hope you enjoy the song!

Ballade (Slave)
Welcome back to Tea with Liya! On this mid-May morning, I've uploaded a song called "Ballade," a romantic-era piece composed by Claude Debussy. While learning the song, I noticed some interesting things about how it was written. I hope you like listening to it, too!

A Child is Born
Welcome back to Tea with Liya! It's the middle of May, but I'm still waiting for temperatures to qualify as spring. In the meantime, I recorded this song called "A Child is Born." It got me thinking about some things that remain the same even when others change. Thanks for coming to listen!

Monk's Dream
Welcome back to Tea with Liya! Today, I'm playing a jazz song called "Monk's Dream," which was named after its composer, Thelonious Monk. In my blog post, I'm also talking about some happy numbers we can find during the pandemic - and maybe happy dreams, too! Thanks for coming to listen!
