It's the middle of November.
And we've got more stuff to try.
But... it could take a while.
In case you're wondering why I'm trying to talk about the same topic in every post, I'm trying to make them connect to each other a little bit more, so I don't just make a random post every week. So they'll be similar, but different.
Listen to the song while I continue....
For example, let's say you wanted to write a book. Or learn how to play the piano better. Or start having professional concerts.
You'd have to first go looking for opportunities where you can do that.
Then, you'd have to get organized so that it can actually happen. That sometimes looks like it will take longer than actually doing what you want to do. There's time limits and places to go and documents to hand in and all these great things.
After that, you'd actually have to go and do it. Sometimes, however, distractions come around and you don't end up doing it the day you want, so you have to schedule another time, and you won't finish on the same day you start, so.....
Get where I'm going?
Sometimes, when you want to do something, it ends up taking a while. A much longer while than you expected or wanted it to. Sometimes it's harder than you expected or wanted it to be.
BUT
That isn't a reason to not do it. It's most likely that if you push through and get it done, you'll end up better. You'll learn something new, you'll be more prepared for it the next time, or whatever ends up happening so that you get something out of it.
If you just start getting to it (there's a song called that), then when you're done, you'll probably be looking at starlight instead of a dark, stormy sky.
Of course, this is yet another one of the things that I'm trying to do too. Don't feel like you're alone. We're all in this together, after all.
And so is Stella. Stella by starlight, actually.
